IJCAR 2006 is the third International Joint Conference on Automated Reasoning (IJCAR) and is a merger of

• CADE (Conference on Automated Deduction),
• FroCoS (Workshop on Frontiers of Combining Systems),
• FTP (Workshop on First-order Theorem Proving),
• TABLEAUX (Conference on Analytic Tableaux and Related Methods) and
• TPHOLs (Theorem Proving in Higher-Order Logics).

Joint IJCAR-CAV Excursion and Banquet on Puget Sound!

The CAV excursion and banquet will be held on the evening of Friday, August 18. The cruise boards from 19:00 to 19:30 at Pier 55. The cruise departs at 19:30. We will be taking a Royal Argosy Cruise on the Spirit of Seattle with incredible views of Seattle and an elegant dinner. There will be live musical entertainment-bring your dancing shoes! Banquet tickets are not included in the CAV registration - they must be purchased separately. Attendance is limited to 220 people, so register early!

Directions to Pier 55 from Hotel (15 minute walk)

• Walk west from hotel to 1st Ave. on Pike St.
• Cross to west side of 1st Ave and turn left.
• Go two blocks to University St. (you will see the closed Seattle Art Museum on the other side of 1st Ave).
• Take a right and go all the way down the big set of stairs (Harbor Steps).
• Go under the elevated highway (99) and cross over the street.
• Turn left and proceed a short way to Pier 55/56.
