The Biennial Data Research Conference is hosted this year by the John and Donna Krenicki Center for Business Analytics and Machine Learning at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. This year’s conference will focus on the future of analytics and machine learning and will feature interdisciplinary speakers from both industry and academia. We encourage talks that push the frontier of our understanding and help the complexity that many industry leaders are facing. The program will include several paper sessions, a poster session, and a distinguished panel discussion on emerging issues in analytics and machine learning. Each paper session will begin with a keynote speaker and will feature four paper presentations.
A limited number of talks/papers and posters will be accepted for the conference. To propose a talk or poster, the author(s) should submit a one-page abstract by March 30, 2020. The authors of accepted talks and posters will be notified by April 20. The talks will be restricted to 20 minutes, with 5 additional minutes for Q&A. The poster presenter(s) will have 2 minutes to introduce their work to the audience.
On the submission link, you will have an option to cut and paste an abstract in text format as well as an option to upload the abstract as a PDF file. For the latter option, the link refers to the submission as a paper, but you need to upload only the abstract.
