5G technology is enabling the coming together of multiple technologies with its open microservices based architecture. Multi Access Edge computing (MEC) is a key enabler in realizing the promise of 5G with the performance requirements as outlined in the IMT-2020 standards. While the distributed computing enables optimization opportunities, it also brings challenges in orchestrating the distributed resources and services.
In this workshop, we call for papers to bring out the latest innovations in the field of 5G edge computing. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Role of Edge architecture in realizing 5G requirements
- Evolution of Mobile Edge computing architecture
- Evolution of cloud edge, enterprise edge and IoT edge and convergence of multi-edge networks
- Security challenges in the edge network
- Management challenges in the edge network
- Application of Edge analytics in intelligent decision making
- Edge Testbeds, deployment status, performance and current challenges
- Open research areas in Edge computing
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

Authors are invited to submit regular (full) papers for presentation at the workshop, describing original, previously unpublished work, which is not currently under review by another workshop, conference, or journal. Regular papers should present novel perspectives within the general scope of the workshop.
Papers may be no more than 6 pages in length. Papers in excess of page limits shall not be considered for review or publication. All papers must be typeset in double-column ACM format using 10pt fonts on US letter paper, with all fonts embedded. The ACM LaTeX and Microsoft Word templates, as well as related information, can be found at the ACM Author Submission Format. Submissions must be made via EasyChair. The accepted submissions will be included in the ICDCN 2020 proceedings.
Each accepted paper will require a full ICDCN registration (no registration is available for workshops only)
