ADCOM 2019: 5G and Beyond
General Chairs: Dr. Aloknath De (SVP & CTO - Samsung Electronics) & Dr. Debabrata Das (HP Chair Professor- IIIT Bangalore)
The Advanced Computing and Communication Society (ACCS) in association with The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore announces the 25th annual International Conference on Advanced Computing and Communications (ADCOM 2019) at Bangalore during 5th - 7th September 2019.
ADCOM, the flagship Systems Conference of the ACCS, is a major annual international meeting that draws leading scientists and researchers in computational and communications engineering from across industry and academia. ADCOM highlights the growing importance of Large Scale Systems Engineering and provides the platform to share, discuss and witness leading edge research and trends.
ADCOM 2019 explores the new generation in cellular mobile and wireless communications; referred to as the fifth generation (5G) systems. 5G Systems are expected to be fully operational by 2020 through its wide range of applications and services. Most importantly, 5G will serve as the enabling architecture and standard for Internet of Things (IoT) systems, Low Power-Wide Area networks and high-speed cellular systems leading to a variety of wireless applications with needs of few bits per seconds to gigabits per seconds with very low latency. This will also significantly extend geographic coverage with delay-sensitive communications. 5G is expected to utilize and exploit new technologies, techniques and protocols at the different communication layers such as software-defined radio, massive antenna systems, MIMO systems, mmWave, optical communications, performance-energy efficient communications protocols and many others.
ADCOM 2019 calls for original, high impact research papers and case studies on many aspects of 5G and B5G (Beyond 5G) systems and related technologies while seeking novel contributions that help mitigate 5G challenges. Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to submit original research contributions in all major areas, which include, but not limited to:
- 5G Wireless Network Security
- Wireless Physical Layer Security
- Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access techniques for 5G
- 5G Test Bed to any Application Validation
