The focus of this workshop includes technological innovations intended to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative agencies and improve access to justice and delivery of services and benefits to citizens. In addition, the workshop is intended to address the issues and risks of such technology, including the due-process, bias, and privacy concerns that can arise from automated government systems. The program is intended to be accessible to both computer scientists and attorneys. The intended audience for the workshop includes practitioners, researchers, and developers at the intersection of artificial intelligence, government, administrative law, and social science.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions are invited for research papers, surveys, demo proposals, and position papers. Papers focusing on problems in administration for which AI solutions may have significant potential generality are particularly invited. Submissions should be in the ACM sigconf template (for LaTeX) or the interim template layout.docx (for Word), both at http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template. All papers should be converted to PDF prior to electronic submission.
