Scope of the Book
In this technological era, a large volume of data is being generated by systems that are required to be handled in an efficient manner for complex decision-making. ArtificialIntelligence (AI) is one of the emerging technologies that aim to imitate human behavior, enabling individuals to rethink how to consolidate information, examine data and employ resulting insights for improving decision making. AI is not only improving daily lives but also playing an imperative role in saving our lives. Al has led to momentous breakthroughs in the healthcare industry and has capabilities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and workflow for both clinicians and patients. Nowadays, AI enables computers to become far more intelligent and autonomous for providing better solutions related to the healthcare industry. AI-based healthcare applications have the capabilities to empower individuals so as to assess their own disease-related symptoms and suggest therapeutic care for themselves whenever required.
The focus of the book is to provide technical details about distinct AI algorithms such as Support vector machines (SVM), Naive Bayes, Random forest, Artificial neural networks (ANN), Deep neural networks (DNN), Convolutional neural networks (CNN) and many others for assisting clinicians in decision-making processes. It will also highlight numerous challenges while designing and implementing intelligent systems for the analysis of healthcare data. Further, some light will be thrown on privacy, health insurance, security, legal aspects, and information sharing in healthcare AI.
Submission Guidelines
All chapters must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their abstract of 700 to 1,000 words clearly explaining the abstract and table of contents of their proposed chapter on or before 15th November, 2022 using EasyChair Link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aihipm2022. Authors will be notified about the status of their proposals and will be shared sample chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by 30th December, 2022 and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis.
