About AIITCT21: Call for Book Chapters
The paradigm of Ambient Intelligence (AmI) and IoT aims at supporting humans in achieving their everyday objectives by enriching physical environments with networks of distributed devices, such as sensors, actuators, and computational resources. AmI and IoT is not only the convergence of various technologies (i.e. sensor networks and industrial electronics) and related research fields (i.e. pervasive, distributed computing, and artificial intelligence), but it requires a major effort to integrate them and to make them useful for everyday human life. By relying on various artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, AmI promises the successful interpretation of the wealth of contextual information obtained from such embedded sensors and will adapt the environment to the user needs in a transparent and anticipatory manner. An AmI system is particularly identified by several characteristics:
- Context-aware: It exploits the contextual and situational information.
- Personalized: It is personalized and tailored to the needs of every individual.
- Anticipatory: It can anticipate the needs of an individual without the conscious mediation of the individuals.
- Adaptive: It adapts to the changing needs of the individuals.
- Ubiquity: It is embedded and integrated into our everyday situation posed by current environments.
- Transparency: It recedes into the background of our daily life in an unobtrusive way
- The book highlights the framework of Robust and Novel Aml & IoT Technique.
- Implementation strategies and future research directions meeting the design & application requirements of several modern and real-time applications for a long time.
- The book would be a better choice for most available books which are published a long time ago and hence the current needs of Aml and IoT are seldom elaborated in old books.
- Learning Objectives and Outcomes in Each Chapter.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Abstract/ Proposal Submission: Contributing Researchers have invited to submit a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words, clearly explaining their proposed chapter’s objectives and concerns.
- Full chapter: expected to be submitted within 30 days of acceptance of abstract and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.scrivenerpublishing.com/guidelines.php before submission.
- The authors will be notified about their proposals’ status within 30 days of submitting the full chapter.
- All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Publication
The final book chapters of AIITCT21 will be published by Wiley-Scrivener. The purpose of Scrivener Publishing is to publish books and journals in the technology applied sciences for both the practitioner in the industry (engineer and technician) and the researcher in academia. This high-quality content is essential to our professional customers and is sold globally as print and electronic as well as in aggregated databases. We believe our content helps businesses and industries achieve cost efficiencies and higher productivity. We also believe that our new journal titles will be unique and important resources for both the practitioner and researcher in the fields represented. Finally, by partnering with \textbf{Wiley}, the leading engineering publisher, on our books through our joint imprint, \textbf{Wiley-Scrivener}, Scrivener Publishing will offer our authors global marketing, sales, and distribution both in print and digital. This publication is anticipated to be released in 2021. All manuscript submissions to the special issue should be sent through the online submission system.
The publisher will submit the book to SCOPUS for Indexing.
