AIQCS2020 is a conference exploring the overlap between ideas in Agency, Complexity Science and Quantum Information:
Agency is at the forefront of modern technologies. Both engineered and natural systems respond to stimuli from their environment, displaying complex adaptive behaviour that depends both on the current environmental input stimuli and the transcript of their past encounters. Such agents process information from their environment, outputting the outcomes of this computation as actions -- this makes information theory a powerful tool to characterize and understand their behaviour. What innovations do quantum technologies bring to this discipline? Are quantum agents able to more efficiently process environmental information and infer the consequences of their actions?
Submission Guidelines
We will not be publishing a proceedings, please feel free to submit a 1-2 paragraph abstract (along with links to the arxiv manuscript or information about where the publication is available from) to be considered for a talk.
