The Big Data and Analytics Education Conference (BDA EdCon) brings together academics, educators and industry partners to exchange knowledge and ideas to better prepare professionals for the workforce. Educators from around the globe will explore how the confluence of big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and cognitive computing can be implemented into their teaching and learning experiences today in order to meet industry demand. The BDA Edcon is a powerful channel for industry partners to provide input for their needs to educational institutions. The conference will include the final judging and presentation of the top three awards for the Analytics Institute Global Competition.
Submission Guidelines
The 7th International Big Data and Analytics Educational Conference calls for papers and abstract presentations on educational programs in all areas of big data analytics, AI and cognitive computing. Educational programs can be high school, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and on-the-job, and can focus on research, education and/or training. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- BDA curriculum design, development and delivery
- Novel approaches to teaching and assessing big data, AI, cognitive science and analytics concept
- Building advanced courses around decision analytics, modelling, algorithms, machine learning, AI, cognitive science and visual analytics
- Data as a business strategy and source of innovation
- AI, cognitive science, big data and analytics in professional fields, such as cyber security, accounting, law, medicine, education, etc.
- Impact of AI and Big Data Analytics on information systems, computer science, industrial engineering programs
- Software for teaching AI, BDA and cognitive science
- Ethics, Trust and Governance in AI, Data and Analytics
- Regulatory and data compliance issues with Big Data
ABSTRACTS/PAPERS
Both abstracts (200-500 words) and papers (between 2000-7000 words) will be accepted.
At the conference, 20 minutes of presentation time will be allocated for all accepted abstracts and papers.

AWARDS
- Three "Best Paper Awards" will be given to outstanding papers in the field of Analytics Education.
- Accepted papers (those between 5000-7000 words) will be considered for a special issue publication in International Journal of Business Intelligence Research:
