The third edition of the conference "Big Data in Health" (BDH2019) will take place in Rome, June 12-14 2019.
The aim of BDH2019 is to share not only the current and future sciences and research lines, but also the best practices already in place and to focus on an hot topics that underlies Big Data: patient privacy and infrastructure security.
A novelty of BDH2019 will be the discussion on the cross-use of multiple databases, in order to create "health maps" that explore the correlations between environment, lifestyles and health. Moreover, there will be a space to create a virtuous intersection between supply and demand, that is, an incubator of projects that allows to link research groups linked to data.
Finally, BDH2019 will starts the first census of Medical, Healthcare and Environment databases in Italy that can be used to test big data analytics and models, validate simulations and perform virtual experiments and knowledge extraction
