Theme: Responsibilities of Digitalization – Responsible designing & shaping the future of technology for digital preservation, global data storage and cost-effective management
Digitalization rapidly changes wireless, bio, and info-tech ecosystems and enterprises must find new ways to innovate for business advantage and sustainability. Through digital transformation, the implementation of new technologies like cloud, mobile, big data, and social networks with increasing intelligence and automation enterprises can capitalize on new business and optimization opportunities. Responsibility of business leaders and ICT system developers needs democratic innovation culture as well as new approaches to system design and exploitation. The BIR conference is overly focused on development of ICT systems to ensure system responsiveness, user friendliness, project agility, information availability and security, business continuity, system functionality, scalability and efficiency. However, the ICT people are expected to develop technologies, systems and methods taking into account consequences of their designs and implementations. Responsible designing the future requires change of ethics and learning methods, just to include different point of views (i.e., society, organization, individual, and information systems).
