The 9th International Conference on Systems Engineering (CIIS 2026) offers a unique platform for academic and practical dialogue on topics related to data science and artificial intelligence. Therefore, we invite researchers, professionals, and students to submit original research papers that contribute to the advancement of computer science, systems engineering, informatics, and related fields.
Accepted papers presented at the conference will be published in the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS), under the open access model, in the ACM Digital Library. The proceedings will be submitted to Scopus for consideration in accordance with its editorial criteria. The previous edition of this conference (CIIS 2025) was published in ACM ICPS, and its proceedings are indexed in Scopus. You can find it available in ACM DL and Scopus.

Manuscript Review Process
1. Ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the peer review process
CIIS 2026 strictly adheres to the ACM Policy on Authorship and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines for good publication practice. Any form of misconduct, including plagiarism or the improper use of third-party sources, will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript. All individuals involved in the review process must declare any conflicts of interest and maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts under evaluation. Under no circumstances may manuscripts or their content be shared outside the peer review process.
2. Similarity report review
The chair, co-chair, and the Program Committee will review the similarity report to verify compliance with copyright laws, ethical standards, and the alignment of the manuscript with the thematic focus and main topics of the conference. Manuscripts with excessive similarity, inappropriate use of sources, or lack of alignment with the conference theme will be rejected.
3. Assignment of manuscripts for review
Once approved for review, the manuscript will be assigned to members of the program committee or external experts specialized in the subject area. Each submission will be subject to a double-blind review by two independent reviewers, who will provide detailed comments and classify the manuscript as follows:
- Accepted without changes or with minor revisions.
- Conditionally accepted, but requiring major revisions based on the reviewers comments. The revised manuscript must be reviewed a second time for final approval.
- Rejected due to limited contributions or other concerns raised by the reviewers.
4. Final decision
The final decision on manuscript acceptance will be made by the program directors and conference chairs to ensure impartiality and academic quality.
