ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The broad objective of Capital Markets Conference (CMC) is to provide a platform to the researchers, industry participants, academicians and regulators to showcase cutting-edge research in the areas related to capital markets. The specific aim of this conference is to explore the possible impact of latest regulations on corporate bond markets, SME market structure and form, Risk management in financial markets, Mutual Funds and alternate investments and other structural aspects related to capital markets across multiple asset classes through invited papers and panel discussions. This conference is organised by the National Institute of Securities Markets and sponsored by the State Bank of India (Principal Sponsor).

ABOUT NISM
The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards and increase participation in the securities markets.
School for Securities Information and Research (SSIR) aims at promoting policy research, empirical and exploratory studies in the field of financial markets, innovative financial instruments, new regulation and introduction of new products and the challenges in the existing regulations related to financial markets.
Submission Guidelines
Papers in the areas covering Market Microstructure, Risk Management, Debt Market, Equity Market, Derivatives Markets (Hedging and Price Discovery), Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management Service (PMS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and regulations related to market structure. Empirical papers that seek to understand the structural and functional aspects of financial markets and other themes provided in this brochures can be submitted through:

Papers can be submitted in soft copy along with an abstract of 300 words and keywords as well as JEL codes. The font should be in Times New Roman with 12 font size and single-spaced. The length of the paper should not exceed 6000 words. Papers will go through a blind review process and the status of acceptance of the paper will be intimated to the author over email thereafter.

Paper presentation process:
Each paper presenter will get 20 minutes to present the paper, 10 minutes for discussion and 10 minutes for question answer.
Publication opportunities:
All papers submitted in the conference shall be sent for review and publication, based on the willingness of the authors, in ABDC or Scopus index journals. The decision of the journal authorities with respect to the publication of papers shall be final.
Conference takeaways:
In addition to networking with the academia and industry professionals, the conference shall also give the Registered paper presenter Rs.5000 lump sum per paper as an honorarium and all registered participants will be awarded a participation certificate.
The conference proposes to give best paper awards based on the evaluation of the paper and its presentation by the panels and the conference committee. The following cash prizes proposed for three best papers*.

The venue of the conference will be NISM, Patalganga campus. All authors of papers selected for presentation in the conference will get free lodging and boarding at the NISM Patalganga campus on a sharing basis. Other participants will be charged for accommodation at ₹ 500 per day per person for Non AC rooms provided on twin sharing basis. For AC rooms the charges shall be ₹ 2,000 per person per day.
