The CSCE annual national conference is in Saskatoon from 27-30 May 2020 at the Delta Downtown (405 20th St E).
Recognizing and valuing the grand traditions of civil engineering and those who came before us to build the foundations of our profession, while looking to the future of an ever changing world, new expectations, and increasing focus on diversity, inclusion, and climate.
Submission Guidelines
GUIDELINES FOR FULL PAPER and EXTENDED ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Please review the following notes before submitting:
- Papers should not exceed 10 pages. Extended abstracts should not exceed 2 pages.
- Accepted papers will be published in conference proceedings identified by ISBN: 978-0-9952600-5-4
- All authors should be included (update your author information, if required)
- The presenting author must be clearly identified and, once the submission is accepted, must register and attend the conference to present their work
- Save your file as "##-AuthorSurname-Paper" or "##-Author-XAbstract" to support our submission management processes
- Papers must be submitted via EasyChair by editing your original submission: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=csce2020
All submissions will be peer-reviewed and decisions on acceptance forwarded to authors per the technical program dates. All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another conference.
Authors whose wish to present their abstract as a poster for the Annual Conference or Specialty Conferences must indicate their choice before 15 January 2020.
The deadline for paper and extended abstract submissions is 23 February 2020.
Important Information
Please take note that only papers for which authors have paid their registration fees for the conference and have presented their papers (co-authors accepted) at the conference will be published in the conference proceeding. In addition, a limit of two papers per author per full registration is allowed. A minimum of one-day registration is required to present one paper.
The key elements for paper submission are:
- Only two papers per conference fee will be accepted in the final program of the conference.
- All papers are requested in English with a level of spelling and grammar suitable for publication, and must be formatted using the conference template (provided at www.csce2020.ca).

When submitting papers, please include the following:
- A pdf file of the paper
- Signed copyright form (email to Lois Arkwright at: lois.arkwright@csce.ca )
- NAMING your files: please use "##-AuthorSurname-Paper" for full length papers or "##-AuthorSurname-XAbstract" for extended abstracts or case studies
