Urbanization, demographic changes, environmental changes, and new technologies are changing the views of urban leaders’ on sustainability, as well as creating and providing public services to tackle these new dynamics. Sustainable development is an objective by which the processes of planning, implementing projects, and development is aimed at meeting the needs of modern communities without compromising the potential of future generations. The sustainability always includes a balance of priorities in various areas, including economics, community needs, and environmental quality, as well as justice, health and well-being, energy, water, and material resources, and transportation needs. The communication is fundamental for Smart Cities, both for Internet access and for new digital services. An important starting point for cities is the introduction of public Wi-Fi. The advent of Smart Cities is the answer to these problems. Another point that is also a significant concern in developing a sustainable smart city is the energy crisis. The energy crisis raises worries that global demand for limited natural resources is declining as demand grows. These natural resources are used by the industrial sector, the transport sector, the commercial sector, and the residential sector. Residents are living in a residential area use most of the energy for space heating, followed by electronics, lighting and other appliances, water heating, air conditioning, and cooling. The residential sector around the world consumes a significant amount of energy, which is equivalent to one-third of all available primary energy resources. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the demand for energy using a sustainable building.
