The International Digital Public Health Conference series (DPH) is a world leading annual interdisciplinary event on research and innovation in digital public health. Established in 2008 and recently established as the flagship annual event of the University College London (UCL) Institute for Risk & Disaster Reduction (IRDR) Centre for Digital Public Health in Emergencies (dPHE), it fosters interdisciplinary research and innovation driven by real world needs, aiming to improve public health through the application of novel technology at the personal, community and global levels. Unique in bringing together audiences from Public Health, Computer & Data Science, MedTech industry and NGOs, DH enables cross-fertilization of research and innovation in digital public health, offering knowledge exchange and networking opportunities.
Submission Guidelines
All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. You are invited to submit your work to one of our three conference tracks:
- Main track - Long and short research papers, medical abstracts
- PhD Students track - Dedicated track for postgraduate students welcoming progress reports, long and short research papers
- Posters and Demos - Visual presentations of current or planned work
Submissions are also open for the DPH Innovation Prize:
- DPH 2019 Innovation Prize - Celebrating top innovation in digital public health technology and business
Authors are strongly advised the register on the online submission system and begin preparing their submissions well in advance of the following deadlines:
- 21st January 2019 - EasyChair system opens for Main track, PhD Students, Poster and Demo submissions and DPH 2019 Innovation Prize applications
- 1st April 2019 - Earlybird registration opens
- 25th May 2019 - Deadline for Main track, PhD Student, Poster and Demo submissions
- 1st July 2019 - Deadline for DPH 2019 Innovation Prize applications
- 22nd July 2019 - Notification of outcomes to authors

Publication & Accreditation
In 2018, DPH successfully gained Agency for Public Health Education Accreditation (APHEA) Continuing Training and Educational Event (CTEE) accreditation for DPH (20 CPD points for Public Health professionals). DPH proceedings will be indexed by the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), and negotiation is ongoing for PubMed indexing.
