Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit papers online in the form of an electronic file in PDF or MS Word format until 21-April-2023. The full papers should have at least 4 pages (with a maximum of 6 pages) following the IEEE paper template. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed, and acceptance will be announced by 25-April-2023.
In order to be included in the conference proceedings, at least one co-author of each accepted paper must be registered for the conference and present it in location. Please refer to the registration page for more information.
All accepted and presented papers will be published by IEEE and indexed in IEEE Xplore.
The 20% top papers of FES2023 proceedings will be eligible for further review to be published in the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.

FES2023 proceedings will be published by IEEE, and all presented papers will be indexed in IEEE Xplore.
Venue
FES2023 will be hosted at the University of Vaasa. The conference venue is located in Wolffintie 34, 65200 Vaasa, within a walking distance of the city center. You can reach Vaasa from the Vaasa airport by Taxi Vaasa and Vaasa Citybus. There are frequent direct buses from Vaasa airport to the different areas of Vaasa. The other option for traveling to Vaasa is traveling via train (VR) from Helsinki airport to the Vaasa train station which is located in the city center.
