Call for Workshops & Tutorials — Festival of Learning 2026
Seoul, Korea | June 29 - July 3 2026
The Festival of Learning 2026 invites submissions for workshops and tutorials, co-located with the AIED, EDM, and Learning @ Scale conferences. These sessions will be jointly organized across all three communities to foster cross-community collaboration.
Workshops and tutorials aim to facilitate in-depth discussions on current and emerging topics relevant to the community. We welcome proposals for workshops and tutorials that unite individuals developing novel research areas. Proposers should clearly articulate how their proposal will engage the community and highlight the benefits of addressing this topic through a workshop or tutorial. Innovative and interactive formats are highly encouraged and will be prioritized in the selection process.
Tutorials aim to offer the opportunity to acquire new skills and knowledge valuable to the members of the community. Tutorials should aim to promote participation and interaction between participants as well. Organizers need to prepare a guided introduction to a topic including hands-on activities for the participants. Proposals should be clear about what the need is for a particular knowledge, target audience and their prior knowledge, and the intended learning outcomes.
Proposals are welcome from all areas related to the participating conferences of the Festival of Learning, namely:
- AI in Education
- Educational Data Mining
- Learning Analytics
- Instructions or interventions at scale
Topics that are relevant for multiple communities (e.g., AI literacy, learning sciences and AI, novel data mining algorithms and application in educational practice, large scale online education and novel analytics approaches) are particularly welcome.
