Artificial Intelligence (AI) is advancing at a rapid pace, and one of its most promising subfields is generative AI, which involves training models to generate new content such as text, images, and videos. Generative AI has the potential to revolutionize many areas of society, including education by providing new opportunities for educators and students explore, create, and personalize learning experiences, but also challenges for educators dealing with student submissions containing AI-generated content.
This 2-day workshop on Generative AI and the Future of Education aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from the fields to explore the current and future applications and implications of generative AI on education. The workshop will provide a unique opportunity for participants to share their research, exchange ideas, build collaboration, and discuss the challenges and opportunities of using generative AI in educational settings.
We welcome submissions on any topic related to the intersection of generative AI and education, including but not limited to:
- Applications and implications of generative AI on education
- Novel pedagogical approaches for teaching generative AI
- Case studies of successful implementation of generative AI in education
- Ethics and responsible use of generative AI in education and research
- Collaborative learning and research using generative AI
- Applications of generative AI in different domains such as healthcare, finance, and creative arts
- Impact of generative AI on curriculum design and assessment- Role of generative AI in personalized and adaptive learning
- Challenges and opportunities for research in generative AI- Future directions and trends in generative AI and education
We invite full paper submissions (up to 8 pages, excluding references) in ACM format. Submissions will be peer-reviewed by the program committee and accepted papers will be included in the workshop proceedings.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions should follow the conference template (provided in Word and LaTeX) and should not exceed 10 pages including references. All papers will be peer-reviewed by at least two members of the program committee, and accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN number and submitted to various indexing service. Please submit your paper in Word or PDF format at (submission link).
