The 26th Annual Graduate Education & Graduate Student Research Conference in Hospitality & Tourism (http://www.gradconfht.com ) is calling for paper submission (http://gradconfht.com/call-for-paper/ ).Organized by The University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management and the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, this conference will be held from January 7-9, 2021, in Houston, Texas, USA. Considering the ongoing impact of COVID-19 pandemic on travel, this conference will provide additional online presentation option for attendees who cannot physically attend the conference. The conference will be a hybrid mode to accommodate the needs of both offline and online attendees.
The focus of the conference and program will be on the research of graduate students and graduate education issues in the field of hospitality and tourism. While this conference has been designed for graduate students and faculty, undergraduate students, and industry professionals with interest in graduate education should consider attending.This conference focuses on a broad range of contemporary topics relevant to research, education, and industry practices in hospitality, tourism, and related fields of study. Presentation proposals are hereby solicited, and the lead author must be a graduate student or an undergraduate honors student who conducted the research work.
Students may submit either a Completed Empirical Research Paper (2000-word Structured Abstract) for a Formal Paper Presentation or a Work-in-Progress Paper (1000-word Abstract) for a Poster Presentation.To be considered for the Completed Empirical Research Paper, students must submit a Structured Abstract (2,000 words max., in English, including tables/figures, but excluding references) by the deadline (Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time USA).To be considered for the Work-in-Progress Paper, students must submit a Structured Abstract (1,000 words max., in English including tables/figures, but excluding references) by the deadline (Tuesday, September 20th, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time USA).
Students must indicate one of the following tracks when submitting a paper for review:

• Consumer Behavior in Tourism
• Education
• Finance & Economics
• Human Resources & Leadership
• Lodging Management & Service Quality
• Marketing
• Restaurant & Food Service
• IT Adoption & Application
• Tourism & Sustainability
Once submitted, papers will undergo a blind review process and will be assigned to either one of the following two categories, depending upon whether they are Completed Empirical Research Papers or Work-in-Progress Papers.

Paper submission and notification timeline:
September 15, 2020: Online paper submission closes at 11:59 pm CST, USA.
October 20, 2020: Notification of acceptance
November 11, 2020: Final papers due by 11:59 pm CST, USA.
November 20, 2020: Early-bird registration due by 11:59pm CST, USA. (Conference attendance mode identification required: online vs. in-person)
