Synopsis
The book will consolidate under one roof the latest research investigating the various technological advances driving innovation analytics. It is well known that innovation is the driver of economic growth and there are several empirical evidences from different countries perspective suggest innovation would help companies to develop and maintain competitive advantage. Companies at this juncture strive for success in the digital age and it is very essential to adapt to the innovation happening around in the field of analytics and business intelligence. Innovation analytics is an emerging paradigm that integrates information/knowledge, analytics, digital twins and artificial intelligence to support and manage the entire lifecycle of a product and process from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, to service and disposal of manufactured products. Innovation analytics will become an integral part of the entire innovation lifecycle that helps in making smart, agile decisions and also accelerate the growth of the businesses. Businesses which are willing to experiment will benefit from the use of analytics and help them to be innovative and achieve competitive advantage in the market. By using the analytical environment in the operational process, companies will be able to drive innovation, react to the demands of the customers and improve their satisfaction effectively. Companies should direct such innovation analytics in their strategy and this will support the company strategy of having the ability to remain competitive and successful. Analytics will help the product and process development team to understand the features that are most and least popular and how exactly the customers use their products. The insights obtained will need to be analysed to develop products that perform better, cost effective and satisfying the customer requirements. Product development and process teams in companies are beginning to look at ways the enormous steams of real time data into actionable information to improve the product and process development stages and understand where innovation is necessary.
The book will aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the challenges, opportunities in relation to innovation analytics. The editors seek chapters that address different aspects for promotion of innovation analytics in product and process development as well, as engineering, mathematical approaches and/or management tools that provides a better understanding and awareness of innovation analytics. Additionally, the book is intended to explore the impact of such emerging developments on current society and its perceptions. Researchers and academicians will be able to gain insights into the real-world usage how analytics can used for innovation and the benefits that it’s bring to the society.

Submission Procedure
Researchers and industry practitioners are invited to submit by 25th January 2021, an abstract (not exceeding 1000 words) for consideration for review. The abstract main text should have the following contents: Purpose/aim; Design/methodology; Findings; Novelty in analytics.
Authors of accepted proposals will be notified in 15th February 2021 about the status of their proposals and will be provided chapter formatting guidelines. Authors will be expected to submit the full chapter on or before 15th May 2021 and will be notified by 15th July 2021 about the status of their full chapters.
