The 2nd Annual IUPUI AI & Data Science Summit 2020 is a campus wide symposium intended to bring together faculty at IUPUI working in AI & data science. This year’s event will include partners from industry and government with a focus on promoting greater research collaboration in AI and data science.
Overview
At IUPUI AI & data science researchers reside in many schools and units around the university. What is the AI and data Science research engagement of the students working with IUPUI faculty? To showcase this, we are soliciting high-quality original student research poster presentations (and significant work-in-progress projects) in any aspect of AI and data science, including challenges in scientific and engineering, social, sensor/IoT/IoE, cybersecurity, and multimedia (audio, video, image, etc.) big data systems and applications.
Submissions may include emerging hot topics, preliminary research results, practical problems encountered, a lesson learned, a research challenge that could benefit from feedback, a war story, ongoing research, a success, a failure, a future experiment, tips and tricks, a pitfall to avoid, exciting visualization related to the topics listed below.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:
1. AI
2. Data Science and Foundations
3. Deep Learning
4. Data Infrastructure
5. Data Management
6. Security, Privacy and Trust
7. Statistical challenges of Big Data analysis
8. AI & Data Science Applications

Abstract Submission deadline: March 25, 2020
Author Notification for poster acceptance: April 3, 2020
Submission Guidelines
An abstract for the student poster presentations should be submitted by March 25, 2020 via the easy chair submission system. Abstracts should not exceed one printed page and follow the template provided on the Summit website which allows the inclusion of one figure.
