IAJCTI22: Innovatus, a Journal on Computing Technology Innovations

AUTOMATION and DIGITALIZATION are in the forefront of current businesses and society. Technology needs to be embraced everywhere to recover from the challenges of the pandemic and maintain operation continuity in this uncertain environment. Increasing use of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE has made it possible to create new innovations. Employment of FINTECH solutions has allowed companies to tap into new ways of increasing the activities in commerce. The educational sector has also had to tap into novel technological solutions to deliver remote learning.

All these key areas have been cornerstones of INNOVATION and BUSINESS COMPETITION in the face of the pandemic. In this special issue, we would like to put the spotlight on new perspectives, proposals, challenges, prospects and solutions.

While academic publications focus on the research and development space, representing industry insights is an important aspect of the research discourse as well. In our call for expert opinion and perspective pieces, we encourage industry leaders, think tanks and other relevant stakeholders to share their thoughts on the direction of applied research and development in the areas of Information Technology and Computing Sciences such as Data Science, Education and Technology, Digitalization, etc.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

• Full papers describing research/capstone topics include but are not limited to:
  • Information Technology, Business Digitalization, FinTech and Technopreneurship
  • Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science works towards Businesses and Education
  • Information Systems and Technology Integrations in Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Transportation

  • Keywords: Business Information Systems, Digitalization, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, E-commerce, Online Learning, FinTech, Artificial Intelligence

• Industry insights articles with three basic channels:
  • Expert Opinion articles: These are short articles that point out strengths and weaknesses of specific topics, techniques or results. Such articles should have a suggested minimum word count of 2000 words.
  • Perspectives pieces: These are short articles that discuss the future direction of a specific topic. Such insights should be based on recent literature (at the latest, 3 years ago). The suggested minimum word count is 3500 words.
  • Commentary pieces: These are short articles that discuss reactions to specific publication articles, highlighting specific critiques and viewpoints. The suggested minimum word count is 1000 to 1500 words.

• The paper must be sent as a single PC formatted PDF document.

Publication

IAJCTI22 online and print on Innovatus: A Journal on Computing Technology Innovations.  Article Processing Charge (APC) is currently shouldered by the University of Asia and the Pacific. 

Full Paper Submission Deadline: September 30, 2022 Extended to October 31, 2022!

Time to First Decision: Approximately 4 weeks after submission confirmation

Papers submitted under this category will require a peer review phase with evaluators consulting the editor-in-chief regarding revisions and its acceptance for publication. The submission guidelines can be found in the submission portal.
