The Asia-Pacific Symposium on Intelligent and Evolutionary Systems first took place in 1997 in Canberra and since then, the Asia-Pacific IES Symposiums have become prestigious incubators of research ideas, as well as facilitators of research collaboration. The Symposiums aim to bring together researchers and practitioners from countries of the Asia-Pacific Region in the fields of intelligent systems and evolutionary computation to present ongoing work, exchange ideas, and discuss future collaboration. Researchers from elsewhere interested in collaboration with researchers from the Asia-Pacific Region are most welcome.
IES 2019 welcomes fundamental science, methodology, method, and practical application papers in the IES Symposiums’ traditional range of topics, which includes but is not limited to: Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Life and Societies, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Data Science and Decision Analytics, Evolutionary and Nature Inspired computation, Game Theory, Human/Brain-Computer Interaction, Agents and Complex Systems, Cognitive and Developmental Systems, Robotics Systems, Collective Intelligence, Swarm Systems, and Intelligent Transport Systems.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
- All manuscripts submitted should be full papers and prepared according to the Springer conference paper templates. The manuscript text should be in one-column page format. The length of the manuscripts prepared with the given template is 10 to 12 pages, up to 15 pages. Please see the Author Submission Instructions for LaTeX style files and Word templates to help you prepare your paper (http://www.springer.com/series/13543).
- Each submission should be uploaded as a single file, in PDF format only, to the Easy Chair system.
- At least one author of every accepted paper must be registered before November 16th.
