Explain what IHTC 2026 is
The IEEE International Humanitarian Technology Conference (IHTC 2026) is a flagship, interdisciplinary conference organized by IEEE Regions 7, 8, and 9. It brings together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and practitioners to share innovative solutions, case studies, and experiences focused on humanitarian challenges. The conference emphasizes technologies that contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including ICT4D, disaster response, and sustainable development initiatives.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Contributions should address humanitarian technology challenges, practical implementations, case studies, or research aligned with sustainable development and societal impact.
The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers describing complete research, innovative solutions, or implemented systems.
- Posters describing preliminary work, ongoing projects, or emerging ideas.
