We are pleased to announce a call for chapter proposal for the book entitled 'Indigenous Language Acquisition, Maintenance, and Loss and Current Language Policies', to be published by IGI Global in 2020.

Objectives:
This book will aim to provide relevant overviews and the latest field research findings in the area. It will discuss maintenance, attrition, or loss of the indigenous languages, language status in the society, language policies, or the grammatical characteristics of the indigenous language that people maintained and spoke. It will be written for researchers and graduate students who want to expand their understanding of the current status of indigenous languages in the world.
Target Audience:
The target audience of this book will be comprised of professionals and researchers working in the field of linguistics in various disciplines, e.g. sociolinguistics, dialectology, contact linguistics, geographical linguistics, anthropological linguistics, and applied linguistics. Moreover, the book will provide insights into the current status of a variety of indigenous languages in the world.

Submission Procedure:
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before May 3, 2019, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by May 26, 2019 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by August 31, 2019, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Trust in Knowledge Management and Systems in Organizations. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process. All proposals should be submitted through the eEditorial DiscoveryTM online submission manager.
