The Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) - Region 3 in will be hosting the annual International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE) 2019 on March 1, 2019 at Somerset Ballroom, Royce Hotel, Clarkfield, Pampanga, Philippines.
PSITE, being the nation’s largest professional IT organization, hosts from time to time, several educational technology conventions and conferences. It is an organization with great diversity that supports members and affiliates with an array of professional learning and collaborative networking opportunities as they face the challenge of innovation and transforming education.
IRCITE 2019 aims to engage the faculty and students in constructive dialogue on critical issues in IT and other related topics, promote innovation, develop leadership qualities, teamwork, and camaraderie. At least 1,000+ students and faculty members from different schools in the region and international delegates will convene along with experts, young professionals, leaders, and advocates.
WHAT’S NEW WITH IRCITE?
Recognizing the importance of student scholarly work, it is imperative that research and innovative initiatives be encouraged and adequately rewarded. With this insight, PSITE organizes the 3rd International Research Conference, which will be participated by students from all academic levels including graduate, undergraduate and senior high school students. In addition to the research presentation, the conference provides a venue for students and faculty to interact in a roundtable discussion on emerging technologies while participating in social activities and skills competitions.
The conference includes plenary and break-out sessions divided into area of research concentration. The topics include, but are not limited to:

Notification of Acceptance and Revisions: January 31, 2019
Deadline for Camera-ready Papers with Revisions: February 9, 2019

Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished full research papers for presentation at IRCITE 2019. Participants must be students pursuing an academic degree at the time of submission. There are three categories in this area 1) graduate 2) undergraduate and 3) poster presentation. A cash prize is awarded to the Best Paper plus all accepted papers have the chance to be chosen for scholarship and funding from the partner industries and academic institutions.
The Conference Review Policy requires that each submitted paper will be peer-reviewed and accepted by at least three (3) reviewers for inclusion in the conference program, on the printed and on-line proceedings. At least an author of each accepted paper is required to register and attend the conference to present. Please take note that only the registered author will receive a certificate of participation/presentation.
All manuscripts and presentation slides must be submitted electronically, in PDF and word document forms using the IRCITE 2019 standard format in ACM template available at https://goo.gl/WCoKzT.
