The International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA) provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and results among researchers, developers, and practitioners working on all aspects of bioinformatics and computational biology and their applications. Submissions presenting original research are solicited in all areas of bioinformatics and computational biology, including the development of experimental or commercial systems. The 20th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA 2024) will be held in Kunming, China, July 19-21,2024. The conference website is https://bio.csu.edu.cn/ISBRA2024/ISBRA2024_Home.html

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.  Please submit extended abstracts (up to 12 pages in the LNCS/CCIS one-column page format) via the online submission system(please refer to the submission link on the webpage of the conference website) . Submission implies willingness of at least one author to register and present at the symposium. The authors should choose one of the following tracks:

Track 1: Submit up to 12 pages in LNCS format for (i) publication of the extended abstract in the Springer LNBI Proceedings and (ii) invitation to submit a 30%-50%-extend version to ISBRA’24 special issues. The pending approval journals are:

• IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
• Journal of Computer Science and Technology
• Tsinghua Science and Technology
• Chinese Journal of Electronics
• Big Data Mining and Analytics

Track 2: Submit up to 12 pages in LNCS format for (i) presentation at the conference and (ii) invitation to submit a full-length paper to ISBRA’24 special issues. The pending approval journals are:
