Welcome to MYHIMS-C 2021. MYHIMS-C 2021 Virtual Conference and Forum will be held from 17th to 19th August 2021 with the theme “Emerging Trends in Mathematics and Statistics: Powering Industrial Innovation.” There are two co-located events in conjunction with MYHIMS-C 2021.
ISMI2021
The International Seminar on Mathematics in Industry 2021 (ISMI2021) is a virtual conference that brings Quadruple Helix model of collaboration and synergy among academia, government agencies, industry, and community. It aims to disseminate knowledge and share the experiences and research on all aspects of industrial mathematics and statistics.
Since 2013, ISMI has established itself as a multidisciplinary platform that enables the mathematical scientist and industry practitioners to discuss their experiences in emerging developments, innovations as well as challenges encountered in the real industrial problems. Following from ISMI2013, ISMI2017, and ISMI-ICTAS2018, closer ties have been forged between mathematical scientists and industry partners in Malaysia through various successful project collaborations.
This year, ISMI2021 will be held on 17th to 19th August 2021 with the theme “Mathematical Thinking in Industrial Innovation”. ISMI2021 is organized by UTM-Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (UTM-CIAM) and Department of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science, UTM in collaboration with MyHIMS Solutions PLT. This year will mark a new history for ISMI where it is co-located with MYHIMS-C 2021. We look forward to seeing you online – at ISMI2021.
ISM-V 2021
Institut Statistik Malaysia, ISM is a leading statistical society in Malaysia with a long history of nearly 40 years in tradition since its establishment in 1981. ISM mission is to promote proper practice, propagation, and dissemination of statistical knowledge for the benefit of society. Our members are diverse, associated with academic institutions, Department of Statistics Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia, various government agencies and industries.
ISM flagship event is the biennial ISM International Statistical Conference, where participants from Malaysia and across the globe meet to exchange and explore ideas and to network. The first ISM, ISM-1 was conducted in 2012 at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Other ISM conferences were hosted previously by Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Universiti Malaya and Sunway University for the second, third and fourth series, respectively. The fifth ISM makes its way once more to Johor Bahru where UTM play host to this important event, ISM-V with the theme,Statistics in the Spotlight: Navigating the New Norm.
This time ISM International Statistical Conference, ISM-V is broadcasting to you for the first time on 17-19 August 2021, virtually. See you there!
