Presentations will address various aspects of waste stream management using thermal treatment processes, and provide useful insight into associated costs, risks, and impacts.
New topics added for 2021 include PFAS sampling, methods, and laboratory analysis, waste/compliance impacts of health pandemics and natural disasters, plastics to energy/closed loop processing, and comprehensive performance testing (CPT).
The IT3/HWC Program Advisory Committee will consider all topics with new information in the following categories:
- PFAS Sampling, Methods, Laboratory Analysis
- Waste/Compliance Impacts of Health Pandemics and Natural Disasters
- Plastics to Energy/Closed Loop Processing
- Comprehensive Performance Testing (CPT) – Lessons Learned
- Practical Applications and Industry Best Practices
- Established and Emerging Markets for Incineration
- Thermal Treatment Case Studies — Municipal and Industrial
- Waste-to-Energy, Renewable Energy, and Biomass
- Greenhouse Gas Management and Sustainability
- Permitting and Regulatory Policy Issues
- Research and Development (R&D) — All Areas
