The 5th International Scientific Conference on Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Modelling in Education will take place at the University of Maribor in Maribor, Slovenia. The conference aim is to present latest research from experts in the field of Philosophy of Mind, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence and Education. The high quality researches presented at the meetings will be archived in conference proceedings public shed.
In addition special issues in leading international journals will be devoted to the work, presented at the meeting. The proceedings of the international conference will be published in the:
- International Scientific Journal Problems of Education in the 21st Century
- Journal of Baltic Science Education
- Natural Science Education
- Problems of Management in the 21st Century
The conference program will be performed in three sections:
- philosophy,
- psychology, cognitive science and neuroscience,
- artificial intelligence,
- history of science and society,
- education.
The first three sections are mainly connected with the basic theoretical research work, while the last one is also applied oriented. Post graduate students and others experts shall be invited to present their new gained knowledge and the results of their researches.
Aims / Topics
- The aim of the conference is to promote further international co-operation among Scientists from different disciplines involved in the study of Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Modelling in Education.
- The overall objective is to produce an integrated approach to problems of connection Education with the contemporary knowledge from the area of Philosophy of Mind, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Education, Neuroscience, Cognitive modelling and Artificial Intelligence.
- The conference will discuss papers on any topics listed below and others related to the objectives of the scientific meeting. The participants are encouraged to review critically existing ideas and to explore new research ideas.
