All chapters must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
About Book
The aim of this book is to present the importance of power electronics will keep rising in both the transport sector and in energy systems. Advanced inverters and converters need to work hand in hand with control techniques and AI to help ensure the reliability and quality of electric power supplies in vehicles and at all levels of the grid.
Volume-1: Converters and Control for Drives: Volume-1 of this reference in two volumes convey the state of the art of power electronics and control for drives. The chapters will enable the reader to directly apply the knowledge gained to their research and designs. Coverage will include WBG devices, advanced inverter, and converter topologies, reliability, partial power conversion, and control technologies, in particular for electric transport. Volume-2: Clean Generation and Power Grids: Volume-2 of this reference in two volumes convey the state of the art of power electronics, computing, and control for energy systems. The chapters will enable the reader to directly apply the knowledge gained to their research and designs. Coverage will include PV and wind power conversion, smart storage and grids, control technology, IoT and AI, and next-generation integration.A coherent chapter structure and step-by-step explanations will provide the reader with the understanding to pursue their research.
