Submission Guidelines
Conference Topics
Neuroethics has always been an interdisciplinary field and we are willing to strengthen links among scholars of different research areas and from different countries.
The Conference will feature a session on the new frontiers of the concept of brain death and on the new technological possibilities currently available.
Participants can only send one contribution as first authors, but they can appear as second authors of other contributions.
Abstracts must be submitted through EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sineins-2019).
Any request of information should be sent to convegno@societadineuroetica.it.
Abstracts must be ready for double blind review and should not exceed 300 words, plus 10 reference records, which will not be considered in the words count. Authors should indicate in their submission the section for which they intend to contribute.
Abstracts can be written either in English or in Italian, according to the language chosen for the paper. However, since the audience is international, we warmly encourage submissions in English.
Deadlines and Reviewing Process
The new deadline for abstract submission is February 15th, 2019.
Notification of acceptance will be given by March 15th, 2019.
Abstracts will be subject to blind review. The Scientific Committee will be selected from members of the Italian Society for Neuroethics and the International Neuroethics Society.
Accepted papers will have 20 minutes for presentation, plus 10 minutes for discussion.
All authors of selected papers, if attending, will have to subscribe to the Conference.
