You are cordially invited to attend and participate virtually in the UNITEN Teaching and Learning Fest (UTLF 2020) which will take place on 23rd of September 2020 (Wednesday) GMT +0800.
Virtual presenters will appear in program, abstracts and proceeding books like any face-to-face conferences.
After peer-reviewing,extended abstracts will be published in conference proceedings and selected papers will be invited for full paper submissions to be published in UNITEN Teaching & Learning e-journal. This can be counted in as non-indexed "Other Publication" journal.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers describing complete research in one or more aspects of teaching and learning methods addressing topics listed in the Call for Papers (Tracks 1-7), with proven or potential capability to advance the state of research in the field. Research papers should be similar to journal submissions, albeit shorter. They should have completed analyses and documentation of results.
- Ongoing Research Papers describes ongoing research work that is yet to be completed, in one or more aspects of teaching and learning, addressing topics listed in the Call for Papers (Tracks 1-7), with proven or potential capability to advance the state of research in the field. Ongoing research papers could take various forms. For example, they can be theoretical (presenting promising frameworks), empirical (with some preliminary results), or present a design of novel and useful concepts, artifacts (no testing required).
Tracks and (Topics include but not limited to)
- Topic 1 - Innovative Teaching & Learning Methods (e.g. student-centred learning, active learning (AL), problem-based learning (PBL), gamification, etc.)
- Topic 2 - Meaningful Learning Content (e.g. modular content, adaptive learning, learning path, scaffolding, constructive alignment, learning theories, etc.)
- Topic 3 - 21st Century Teacher Roles (e.g. facilitator, collaborator, mediator, etc.)
- Topic 4 - Emerging Classroom Tools & Technologies (e.g. lms platform, software/hardware, apps, OER, learning platforms, etc.)
- Topic 5 - Immersive Teaching & Learning Experiences (e.g. BL/VL/ODL/MOOC/Adaptive Learning/AR/VR, etc.)
- Topic 6 - Optimizing Teaching & Learning Analytics (e.g. lms utilization, students progress, grades, learning outcomes, etc.)
- Topic 7 - Impactful Alternative Assessments (e.g. e-portfolio, open-book exam, simulation, project, demonstration, blogging, vlogging, e-report, journal reflection, etc.)
