We are delighted to announce the call for paper for the
XV International Workshop on Artificial Life and Evolutionary Computation
(https://wivace2021.org),
which will take place
September 15-17, 2021
at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur, Switzerland.
The conference will be held most probably in hybrid form.
Contributions solicited cover a variety of topics, including but not limited to:

All submissions are due by July 18, 2021. As in previous workshops, contributionsmay be submitted in one of the following forms:
1. Full research papers (up to 12 pages).
2. Extended abstracts (1-4 pages).
Full research papers should present original unpublished work. Extended abstracts should describe original work in progress or a summary of a full paper.
The Proceedings of the Wivace Workshop will be published in Springer's Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) proceedings series, which is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings. For further information on CCIS, have a look at https://www.springer.com/series/7899.
Manuscripts should preferably be prepared with LaTeX, using Springer's LaTeX style package for CCIS, whenever possible. Otherwise, manuscripts written in Winword, using Springer's Word Template for CCIS can also be submitted. Author instructions, the LaTeX style package, the Winword template, and the CCIS consent to publish form can be found at https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines.
We use EasyChair as submission system for the manuscripts. The submission Web page for WIVACE2021 is https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=wivace2021.
The submissions will be peer reviewed by at least three members of the program committee. The authors of accepted papers or abstracts will have to improve their paper on the basis of reviewers' comments and will be asked to send a camera ready version of their manuscripts. At least one author of each accepted work has to register for the conference, attend the conference and present his work.
