The Water Security and Climate Change Conference (WSCC) strives to go beyond science and build bridges between various disciplines and sectors as well as different groups of stakeholders. Serving as a platform for discussions about water secure societies, by providing a stimulating environment with the intention of yielding innovative ideas and grounds for implementation, the WSCC is continuing a series of successful conferences in Bangkok, Cologne and Nairobi.
In 2019, WSCC is convened by the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí on behalf of the Exceed network, which consists of more than 90 universities worldwide.
Submission Guidelines
- All abstracts must be submitted online 31 March – 21 June 2019.
- Abstracts must be submitted as “Oral or Poster Presentation” or “Poster Presentation Only”.
- All abstracts must be submitted through our submission portal in text form as well as a one-page PDF with 0.75 inch margins all around, 11-pt font size or larger.
- The following information must be included in the submitted abstract: presentation title; all author(s)’ identifying information; including names, degrees, and institutional affiliations; WSCC topics (see list of topics above); three to five keywords; and narrative text (limited to 300 words).
- Tables and/or figures may be included providing the submission stays within page limits. Images should be formatted as a JPEG file with minimum resolution 300 DPI, charts and figures as a PDF.
- Please use the following naming convention for the file name: (Co)AuthorLastName_First Name_Affiliation_Topic.pdf (ex. _Doe_John_UniversityXXX_Topic.pdf).
- The conference organization committee may propose an alternative presentation format (open space sessions), based on the available times in the conference program.
