We are pleased to announce the 1st Workshop in Spatial Intelligence 2019 that will be held in Mérida, Yucatán (México). This workshop focuses on the intersection between topics around the Earth (and its phenomena) and trends in geospatial Information Technologies such as Spatial Data Science, Big Spatial Data, Future Internet, Semantic Web, Smart Cities, among others. This new scenario opens new challenges and opportunities to the GIScience research community. Thus, this workshop will present research works concerning advances in the GIScience field. It is co-organized by Lab. Geomovil, PIIG lab, UPIITA and CIC-IPN, CENTROGEO Yucatán, and ANTACOM and under the umbrella of WITCOM Conferences.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome, Work in progress, Full paper and short paper:

All submissions will be refereed for quality, originality, and relevance by the Program Committee. Accepted papers will be published in the CCIS series of Springer
Acceptance of a paper means an obligation for at least one of the authors to attend the conference in order to present the paper. Otherwise, the accepted submission will not appear in the published proceedings.
Paper Format - Manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format and formatted using the templates available at the web site of Spatial Intelligence Workshop (they corresponding to Springer CCIS Series). All submissions will be refereed for quality, originality, and relevance by the Program Committee
