YRJ 2018: The Y4iT Reseach Journal 2018 |
The UP System Information Technology Foundation(UP SITF) enjoins young and budding student researchers, educators, scientists, and professionals of Information Communication Technology to publish their work and results on various ICT-related research undertakings in the Y4iT Research Journal. It is the aim of the Journal to help the research community expand and continually grow by building and developing the capabilities and skills of the new generation of problem-solvers, technologists, and innovators. One way to achieve the aim of the Journal is to identify this new generation of scientists through the Y4iT Research Summit. In these Summits, their research outputs are presented to the scientific community, and through open forums, improve their work. Thereafter, the UP SITF encourages these young researchers to improve and document their work to produce publishable scientific papers by submitting it to the Journal. Another way is through submissions that are directly sent to the Editorial Board of the Journal. The Editorial Board, along with its colleagues and reviewers, facilitate and help in the formation, development, and finalization of these research papers until their publication.
Submission Guidelines
-
Every paper that is submitted to the Journal must original and not be concurrently submitted to nor has been accepted in another conference or journal. Only those papers that satisfy this requirement are endorsed and assigned by the Journal's Editorial Board to their corresponding set of reviewers. When the Board deems that the authors of the submission have sufficiently addressed the concerns and requirements of the reviewers, the paper is included for publication in the Journal.
-
The Journal aims to develop young researchers, therefore at least one(1) of the authors in the submitted paper is at least forty(40) years old.
-
The authors must use the ACM Large template in formatting the contents of their submissions to the Journal. The template is available for download at https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template.
-
The authors must submit their paper in its PDF version. It must be submitted through the EasyChair conference system. Authors are required to create their own EasyChair account at www.easychair.org to be able to submit their paper to the Journal.
