Introduction
Presently, Optimization, Optimal Control and Meta-heuristics are growing swiftly and lead to technological innovations from the front, which aid in smart and sustainable living. The innovations and their application are affecting the decision making procedure of numerous enterprises and occupations. Applications in a wide range of areas such as business analytics, renewable energy, separation process, and the smart city requires rigorous research and developments in Optimization, Optimal Control and Meta-heuristics to minimize the research gap. Moreover, latest research trends demonstrate that extensive research needs to be conducted for different optimization techniques, and their corresponding application in various industries and business sectors need proper demonstration.
The Objective of the Book
Advanced Optimization, Optimal Control and Meta-heuristics for Operational Research, Analytics and Decision-Making in Emerging Marketsprovides insight on recent research trends implementing cutting edge technology of Optimization, Optimal Control and Meta-heuristics. It provides a detailed background of the innovation and novel applications of Meta-heuristics, mainly focusing on logistics and production, renewable energy, marketing models, pollutant emission and minimizing their effects, and planning in economics and finance. This book also deals with evolutionary algorithmic enhancements and sustainable computational strategies to mitigate both natural and artificial problems. The book will aid the readers to enhance their problem-solving and sustainable decision-making skills by helping them to select adequate and efficient methods from standard, nonstandard and stochastic analysis, and from conventional, non-conventional and hybrid meta-heuristics algorithm.
The book is a critical research-oriented book focuses on the role of Optimization, Optimal Control and Meta-heuristics in numerous fields such as energy transition, sustainable decision making, and renewable energy and includes the economic and financial aspects for predicting optimum solution of today’s price- and demand-sensitive markets.
Our book aims to be a vital reference source for practitioners, managers, IT experts, data scientists, academicians, basic researchers, natural scientist, applied mathematicians, statisticians, and post graduates seeking current research on hybrid systems, optimal control, meta-heuristics, optimization methods and their corresponding applications in upcoming business and industry sectors.
