The Congress of European malacological societies is the traditional meeting of mollusk researchers in Europe. Since its beginning in 2000, a total of eight conferences have been celebrated. The conference covers all major topics in malacological research including taxonomy, ecology, evolution, conservation, and much more. Originally scheduled as an in-person event with the beautiful city of Prague serving as its venue, this year Euromal will be held completely online. We hope that this new format will allow us to ensure a successful conference even in these uncertain times. Furthermore, we hope that this new format will help us to create the biggest and most global Euromal ever celebrated, in order to achieve this we have decided that Euromal 2021 will be COMPLETELY FREE. We encourage researchers from all over the globe to submit to our conference. Students, early career researchers, and researchers from underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to submit their work.
Types of contribution
The EUROMAL 2021 congress will have a combination of live presentations and online available material. Live events via MS Teams will occur between 12 am and 6 pm (Greenwich Mean Time). All participants MUST BE REGISTERED for the congress to have access to any part of the content.
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following categories are welcome:

There are two types of live presentations:
