Dear All, we kindly invite you to the "Games and AI - Technological, Cultural and Societal aspects" workshop. The aim of the workshop is to activate and empower the emerging community of game designers, developers, researchers, and players by highlighting the role of AI in this gigantic and important ecosystem. The workshop also reflects the interaction of these disciplines as an integral part of the culture and society, identifying challenges and opportunities in the intersection between all these domains of knowledge. As such, the workshop is expected to act as an interdisciplinary meeting place of research and innovation related to games and AI.

Submission format
Paper formatting should follow the requirements of the SETN 2020 conference.
We accept various submission types as follows:

Position papers (short papers, 2-4 pages), sketching promising future directions, based on recent findings on the borderline between games and AI.

Tools and demo papers (short papers, 2-4 pages), describing existing AI tools and their suggested applications on game design, development, player modeling, AI-based content generation, and other related domains.

Research papers (full papers, 6-10 pages, including references), describing new research works, highlighting the interaction between AI and games, society and culture.
