*IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Respected Delegates,
Taking into consideration our growing concerns on the preventive measures due to the global Covid-19 pandemic and a thoughtful discussion on its implications, the i-COME’20 Secretariat has moved a step forward by deciding to hold this year’s conference fully online. This is the first time ever for i-COME to be held virtually and we take this opportunity to welcome your virtual presentation and attendance at the conference. The conference which has originally scheduled to be held from 18-20 July 2020 to the new dates, 7-8 November 2020. Thank you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
School of Multimedia Technology and Communication, Universiti Utara Malaysia welcome you to join us for our 7th International Conference on Communication and Media (i-COME’20).
Often there are high-quality studies by scholars who do not get the attention of industry and government. Similarly, some of the decisions made by the industry and the government are seen to be contrary to the results of scholarships. In academic contexts, higher education institutions often receive feedback on product production that does not meet industry expectations. In a move towards the industrial revolution 4.0 (IR4.0), such issues can provide a barrier if unexpectedly resolved, it can be a huge burden to all parties in the future.
In line with the theme of "Breaking the barriers, inspiring tomorrow", this conference also intends to involve all stakeholders including industry, public agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and students more intensively. Participants from various academic and professional fields are invited to discuss communication and media barriers, particularly scholarly and practical obstacles to the preparation for the IR4.0 era.
We invite papers from everyone in the academic and industrial sectors to discuss crucial concerns (and potential solutions) in relation to the above-mentioned theme from various communication perspectives.
