International Workshop on Interoperability for maintenance:
Semantic model, terminology and ontology
Advances and Way forward for the Maintenance of the Future
In conjunction with I-ESA 2020
TARBES (FRANCE), MARCH 23-27, 2020
Access to data is a critical point to implement advanced maintenance processes in the factory of the future. The needed interoperability faces different issues and particularly concerning semantic modeling. The need to gather domain experts, data scientists, advanced computer science experts, modeling experts is one of the challenges to succeed.
Maintenance will also play a significant role in the implementation of digital twins bringing together data from models, especially behavioral models, with data from sensors on equipment in operation or historical maintenance data.
Various means need to be experimented to improve interoperability in the real world of the production systems and plants in industry: shared terminology, model-based systems maintenance, big data analysis thanks to AI algorithms, ontologies, …
The general intention of the workshop is to share some industrial maintenance commons in the field of Maintenance terminology, data models and ontologies
The purpose of the workshop is to share outcomes of projects implementing these means, to identify results and open points in order to define the building blocks of the maintenance of the future.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers describing
- the lessons learnt from projects implementing standards in the field of maintenance terminology, semantic data models,
- new technologies (semantic web, IoT, Cloud, Proactive computing, digital twin, AI, ...) for advanced maintenance processes,
- strong conceptual framework for data interoperability,
- the needs, context and expectations from industry eend-users are welcome.
The main selection criteria will be:
- The relevance to the scope of the workshop as described in the proposal,
- The relevance to industry,
- The degree of practical test and application of the propositions in the papers
