CALL FOR BOOK CHAPTER
INDBIAC-2022: Intelligent Network Design Driven by Big Data Analytics, IOT, AI and Cloud Computing
PUBLISHED BY: IET
Scope of the Book
As enterprise access networks evolve with more mobile users, diverse devices and cloud-based applications, managing user performance on an end to end basis has become next to impossible. Recent advances in big data network analytics, combined with AI and cloud computing, are being leveraged to tackle this growing problem. AI will become further integrated with software that manages network, storage, and compute. It will also become integral to orchestrating network functions through network function virtualization (NFV) and virtualized network functions (VNF), as well as virtualized radio access networks (vRAN) and 5G technologies.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference or book.
Pl. follow the below given guidelines:
- We have created a dedicated website for authors: https://www.theiet.org/publishing/publishing-with-iet-books/ with advice on various aspects of writing your book and guidelines and templates: https://www.theiet.org/publishing/publishing-with-iet-books/guides-and-resources/ . Please take some time to read through this. You will also find on this page the Latex and Word templates for download.
- Please read the attached Author Guide for advice on how to format your manuscript.
- Please note that your book chapter will be published in full color.
- If you use any third-party material, such as figures, photos, tables and quotes that have previously been published elsewhere, then it is essential that you get permission to do so from the copyright holder and properly cite the source in the text. I have attached the copyright permission form. Our IET Author Hub contains more advice on how to do this: https://www.theiet.org/publishing/publishing-with-iet-books/permissions-and-royalties/ - usually it is a simple online form for you to fill in. However you and your authors must do this before you submit the manuscript to us. Please supply all permissions with your manuscript. We will not put any manuscripts into production until we are sure all permissions have been cleared.
- Please note that your book chapter should be original, and not reuse large amount of material from already published sources (journals, other books etc.). We use an industry-standard piracy software to check for this on manuscript submission, and will reject any material that is found to be from other sources. So please let your contributors know before they start writing that they should limit the amount of “self-plagiarism” to a minimum (10%) and not resubmit chapters that are only slightly revised versions of previously already published chapters or journal articles. We expect review chapters with a broader scope. Pl. read IET policy regarding plagiarism.
List of Topics
This book shows how data analytics, IoTs, AI and Cloud Computing platforms are being used to ingest, analyse and correlate a myriad of big data across the entire network stack in order to increase Quality of service/Quality of Experience (QoS/QoE) and improve network performance. We plan to cover Big Data and AI analytical techniques for handling the huge amount of data generated by the IoT devices as well as cloud storage optimization, design of next generation access protocols and Internet architecture, fault tolerance and reliability in intelligent networks, applications, challenges, and future directions.
Therefore, your unpublished work is invited for this book as book chapter publication on listed topics but not limited to.
