The NDLI-UNESCO International Symposium of on Knowledge Engineering for Digital Library Design 2019 is second in the series of knowledge-sharing events coordinated by National Digital Library of India. The primary objective of this series has been sharing of technical, policy, administration related knowledge pertaining to digital library design. The first symposium of this series was held in October 2017 with a central theme of collaboration among the digital libraries around the world. More than 30 speakers of international repute have deliberated on different aspects of digital library design. Different deliberations and sessions converged to a crystalized thought: “Openness is the key to mutual growth and sustenance”. This very thought has naturally become the theme of the second version of the symposium: “Smart and Open Technologies for Digital Library”.
This workshop will focus on technologies and strategies for nurturing open culture in the realm of the digital library. The program will include keynote talks, panel discussions and student presentation on state-of-art technologies and strategies.
Submission Guidelines
Prospective authors are requested to submit an extended abstract not exceeding 2 pages in standard two-column ACM template (https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template). Authors of the accepted abstracts must present their work as a poster in the competition to be eligible for awards.
