What is SAROD?
The Symposium on Applied Aerodynamics and Design of Aerospace Vehicles (SAROD) is India's premier conference dedicated to the aerodynamics and aerospace vehicle design community. It serves as a vital platform for experimental, computational, theoretical and vehicle design aerodynamic professionals to exchange insights, showcase advancements, and collaborate on the future technologies.
Organisers
The inaugural SAROD conference, SAROD-2003, was hosted by ADA, Bangalore in 2003. Held biennially, it has continued to evolve and expand. This year's symposium, SAROD 2026, is the eleventh edition representing a significant milestone in this journey. It is uniquely positioned as a joint initiative between National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL) and Trust for the Advancement of Aerodynamics in India (TAAI).
