Scope of the book:
The ever increasing energy demand and deployment of smart technologies in the field of automation, information exchange, data analytics, dynamic optimization of grid operations and resources are key factors which are driving the industries to appreciate the need ofintelligent paradigms in decision making and support system.Intelligent Paradigms should be capable of handling large raw numerical data, processing them by exploiting the representational parallelism, pipelining the problem, generating reliable and just-in-time responses with high fault tolerance. And, the Smart grid introduces intelligence into the conventional power grid to enable bi-directional power flow and bi-directional information exchange between sources of electric power generation and loads with some specific constraints and performance requirements. Incorporation of intelligent paradigms in renewable energy based smart grid is essential for current situation. The objective of this book is to address and disseminate state-of-the-art research and development in the applications of intelligence techniques for smart grids and renewable energy systems. Authors are invited to submit their original and unpublished contributions to this book with emphasis on intelligent paradigms and their applications for smart grids and renewable energy systems.
