Greetings from Team SRC (Students’ Research Convention, 2022), IIT Kanpur!
Students’ Research Convention (SRC), a 3-day-long multidisciplinary research conference, from 4th to 6th March, 2022.
About SRC: SRC is a unique initiative that aims to foster student-based research and create a platform for young researchers to meet and exchange innovative ideas. Being the first of its kind, SRC envisions in bringing together the best of college students from all around the world to engage in talks, presentations, workshops, and eye-opening discussions in the fields of Science, Technology, Humanities, and Management.
The convention will be held from March 4 to March 6 in online mode and will include student conferences across 6 disciplines talks, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, and other academic competitions. Over the course of the convention, the participants, apart from presenting their research work, will also acquire knowledge of various aspects of research that would enhance their methodologies and approaches towards their own research work.
The events for which the abstract short-listing is being done are as follows:
Abstracts are invited for the following events:
- Oral Presentation: It is a full-fledged conference wherein participants would need to present their research work in front of a panel of judges followed by a questionnaire.
- 3-minute Thesis: It is a competition for Masters and Ph.D. students to develop and showcase their research communication skills by presenting their leading-edge research in their respective fields to a panel of judges.
Abstract Submission Deadline: 25th February 2022
The winners will also be awarded certificates and cash prizes as follows:
- Oral presentation
- 1st Position: 8000 INR
- 2nd Position: 5000 INR
- 3rd Position: 3000 INR
- 3 Minute Thesis
- 1st Position: 5000 INR
- 2nd Position: 3000 INR
- 3rd Position: 2000 INR

Submission Guidelines
The research work submitted by the individual must be original. Any form of plagiarism or copyright infringement would lead to instant rejection.
The word limit for abstracts is 300 words.

Note: The final decisions regarding winners of the events and other conference-related matters will be with the organizers of the event and should be considered as final and bounding.
There is no registration fee for the event.
After you submit your abstract, they will be reviewed, upon successful completion of which, you will be sent a confirmation email containing your username and password for the registration portal. The payment would take place in the registration portal itself. Hence, we urge you to submit your correct email id's if you use Easychair for submission. Entries will be considered as accepted only after abstract acceptance and payment of registration charges. The best presenters will have a chance to win certificates and exciting prizes and goodies!
