The 15th World Congress on Engineering Asset Management – WCEAM 2020 will bring together students, industry experts and scientists from around the world providing a pleasant forum for high quality deliberations on technical, economic issues centred around sustainable management of engineered assets in the era of the fourth industrial revolution technologies and globalisation 4.0 business models. Paper presentations and panel discussions will cover industry sectors such as aeronautics & aerospace, agriculture & agro-processing, construction & built environment, conventional & renewable energy electricity and water utilities, maritime, public infrastructure especially education & health care delivery and transportation, manufacturing, mining & minerals processing especially oil & gas, and telecommunications.
Submission Guidelines
Instructions
We are pleased to invite both Academic and Industrial community to submit abstracts describing the proposed paper, work in progress and industrial case presentations. Abstracts should not be longer than 500 words, with no images or pictures. The abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the International Technical Panel of Reviewers. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
Authors will be notified about the acceptance of their Abstracts in due time according to the Congress schedule. Once your Abstract has been accepted, you will need to upload the Full paper within the deadline given.
Selected top quality Research and Industrial-case papers that are peer-reviewed, accepted, and presented at the WCEAM 2020, will be published in the Springer ebook “Proceedings of the 15th World Congress on Engineering Asset Management”
Categories
The following paper categories are welcome:
- Category A (Academic Research Papers - 8-12 single column pages)
Established researchers, Doctoral and Master degree candidates are invited to submit papers describing their research. Such research contributions may be based on conceptual/theoretical, empirical/experimental, or application/practical studies.
- Category B (Preliminary/ Work in Progress Papers - 4-6 single column pages)
This category is for studies which are either at the preliminary or work in progress stage. Very early stage researchers such as final year undergraduate students are encouraged to develop poster presentations of their projects.
- Category C (Industry Contributions – abstract only)
This category of papers will be for presentation only. Industry practitioners are particularly encouraged to contribute evidence of challenges encountered in practical asset management situations.
