EasyChair Preprint no. 911

19 pagesDate: April 20, 2019

Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical framework of the philosophy of the limit of the Spanish philosopher Eugenio Trías in its configuration as a linguistic city, first as an untimely metaphysical proposal contrary to the spirit of postmodernity, and second as the deployment of a conception of being and logos that welcomes in its difference symbolism and reason. All this development focuses on delimiting Trias’ reflection on art, to which detailed attention is dedicated. This article has been conceived as an introduction to another article, proposed for its publication also in this issue of the journal and whose object of study is Trías’ philosophy of music, and which is entitled: «Sound symbols of mystery: arguments for an ontology of musical creation»

Keyphrases: Estética, límite, Ontología, Trías
